UNITED METHODIST MEN
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
Proverbs 27:17
Who are the United Methodist Men at Christ Central? WE are members of the choir, ushers, greeters, Sunday school teachers, and much more. We are sons, fathers, grandfathers, and a few great grandfathers. We range in age from high school students to WWII veterans. What could bring together such a diverse group? One thing: Commitment. That commitment is to assist men to know Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually and seek daily to do His will.
Our UMM Group renews this commitment through fellowship. Our fellowship gives the men of the church a chance to interact and support one another. This fellowship takes place during a breakfast, usually the second Sunday of the month at 7:00 am. The purpose is not just to share a meal, but to share His word. It is also to testify of the work that the Holy Spirit is doing in our group and in each of us individually.
The United Methodist Men are seeking to enlarge the church through spiritual outreach. Activities like our annual golf tournament are great opportunities for us to share our message.
Please come and join us for breakfast and a chance to grow spiritually with a diverse group of men. We want all to find a home in Christ.
